New entertainment hub expected in Forsyth County | What residents can expect
The Gathering is coming to Forsyth County! An 88 Acre mixed use development for Broadway shows and more! Thousands of new and longterm jobs will result! The privately funded project is estimated at over a billion dollars and will even have parking decks! There will also be going to be many new homes, shops, and restaurants surrounding!
Forsyth County Rolls Out 4-Minute City Program
The first four minutes are critical to saving a life threatened by Sudden Cardiac Arrest (SCA). That’s the same length as this video. Forsyth County is one step closer to becoming a 4 Minute City, a program designed to give citizens the tools to offer local victims of cardiac arrest lifesaving help before EMS can arrive at an emergency. The first 30 of eventually over 300 Avive Connect Automated External Defibrillators (AEDs) are now live in the community. Each member of the newly formed Forsyth County 4MC Cardiac Arrest Rapid Engagement (CARE) Team is now personally equipped with a small, mobile AED and is ready to be dispatched by Forsyth County 911 to provide immediate assistance to cardiac arrest victims.
